Welcome to the North Gwinnett Counseling Department!
The mission of the North Gwinnett High School counselors is to provide a comprehensive 9-12 guidance and counseling program that graduates productive and responsible servant leaders.
General Information
The purpose of the guidance and counseling site is to help students stay on track for graduation and plan for the future. In order to accomplish this task, we have a group of highly qualified counselors working with our students through academic advisement, classroom guidance, personal/social development, and coordinating programsfor students and parents. These counselors have been assigned to students across grade levels based upon students' last names.
The Career Center is located in the Counseling Office and students are welcome to visit before and after school or during lunch. Mrs. Blackwell, the College and Career Specialist, is available to assist students with college and career planning, scholarships, and SAT/ACT.
If you are new to the North Gwinnett area, or have any questions relating to our school, you, or your student, please call (770) 271-5165 to register or speak with someone who can help you.
