  • 2005: NGHS hosted national NES Professional Learning Conference in June, with more than 600 participants attending from across the U.S. and Canada
  • 2005: 61% graduates were eligible for HOPE Scholarship
  • 2004-2005: Boys Basketball, Football, Girls Soccer, Softball, Cross Country, Girls Tennis, Boys and Girls Swim/Dive Teams, and Wrestlers advanced to state competition
  • 2004-2005: NGHS School Store Dawg House was awarded National Certification Gold Level. Only school in Georgia to receive this recognition
  • 2004-2005: 32 NGHS students scored 1400 or higher on SAT 
  • 2004-2005: 175 NGHS students scored 1200 or higher on SAT 
  • 2001: NGSF has raised more than $225,000.00 since its inception
  • Experienced increase of 47 points on SAT in past 7 years
  • NGHS seniors earned more than $7,000,000.00 in scholarship funds
  • NGHS seniors performed 18,525 hours of public service
  • 99% of NGHS students passed the LA portion of the GHSGT on 1st attempt
  • 100% of students passed the Math portion of the GHSGT on 1st attempt
  • 2 seniors named National Merit Scholarship Finalist, 4 seniors named Semifinalists, and 11 National Merit Scholarship Commended Students.
  • AP scores: NGHS students scored 3 or above on 67% of AP tests taken
  • All 9th grade students are assigned Senior Peer Mentor
  • 91% passage rate on Biology End of Course Exams (tied for highest in district)
  • Led district in course completion rates for nearly every academic area
  • Honor Graduate status was earned by 132 seniors
  • 86% of graduates plan to enter postsecondary education
  • NGHS DECA won first place in state and Top 20 in nation for Civic Conscientious Project NG DECA Toys-for-Tots.
  • Culinary Arts students won first place in region and placed second in state competitions
  • Band, Chorus and Orchestra all earned Superior ratings in region and area competitions
  • North Gwinnett DECA won first place in State of Georgia and Top 20 in the Nation for our Public Relations Project Great Days of Service
  • North Gwinnett student, Chris Morris, was elected Georgia DECA President
  • North Gwinnett Marketing student, Emily Knight, earned National Marketing credentials in the State of Georgia. (Only student from Gwinnett County Schools to earn this honor.)
  • Fourth year anniversary of North Gwinnett Schools Foundation
  • NGSF has awarded more than $101,000.00 in grants to cluster schools.
