College Visits
Juniors receive one approved college visit day during their junior year. Seniors receive two approved college visit days during their senior year. All visits must be arranged with 3 days prior notice to the visit. Good standing is defined in terms of academic, attendance, and discipline record. If there are deficits in any of these areas, permission may not be granted for college visits! These are excused absences if the junior/senior does the following:
- COLLEGE VISIT FORM Printable or available in the Career Center/Guidance Office, prior to the scheduled visit
- has it signed by all teachers, prior to the scheduled visit
- has it signed by the student's counselor, prior to the scheduled visit
- has it signed by the student's administrator, prior to the scheduled visit
- has the college verify the visit
- returns the form to the Guidance Office, after the scheduled visit
Visits should be taken prior to April 30 of the student's senior year! For more information regarding college visitation days, please visit Career Center/Guidance Office.
